What we're offering

We're bringing the best flavors of the Philippines right to your doorstep through curated Filipino surprise snack boxes, gift boxes, and recipe kits.

We’re recreating the “pasalubong” experience to serve those who are missing familiar tastes of home, looking to discover new favorites, or just starting to learn about Filipino food and culture, Filiflavors is meant to provide you with the most convenient and delightful experience to get a taste of what the Philippines has to offer.

Each box brings a nostalgic feel to those who have left the Philippines to pursue a life in the US, it also helps connect younger generations to what their parents or grandparents grew up eating, lastly it provides people who are not familiar with Filipino food a taste of it. A piece of chocnut can mean the world to someone who is missing home or trying to reconnect with their roots.

Who we are

The Filiflavors Story

Mabuhay! My name is Bianca, I am the founder and owner of Filiflavors. Filiflavors is a 100% woman-owned small business that provides modern “pasalubong” through Filipino surprise snack boxes, gift boxes, and recipe kits.

I was born and raised in Manila but moved to the Bay Area with my family a few years ago. My younger brother was diagnosed within the Autism Spectrum when he was younger and we moved here to provide him a better life. It’s been an amazing but tough journey and the thing that we hold on to that brings us memories of home is through food.

According to the census, Filipinos are the 2nd largest Asian group in the US, but I’ve always wondered why our food and culture is not widely known and accessible. Filiflavors aims to provide you with the most convenient and delightful experience to get a taste of what the Philippines has to offer.

Food is a love language and plays a plays a huge role in our lives. Our boxes aim to bring the best flavors of the Philippines right to the doorsteps of those who are missing familiar tastes of home, looking to discover new favorites, or just starting to learn about Filipino food and culture

A small part of our sales benefit “Support for Families of Children with Disabilities” and “Pomeroy Recreation & Rehabilitation Center”, both are nonprofits that are based in SF. It takes a village to care for someone who has special needs and these nonprofits help equip special needs individuals and their families by providing trainings, events, and a sense of community.

My dream is for Filiflavors to be an instrument in providing Filipino food and culture representation and also providing support to the Autism community.

Thanks so much for being here and I hope you can be part of our journey of bringing the best flavors of the Philippines everywhere. 🧡

Our community impact

Special Needs Community Support - Special Art Sundays

Filiflavors and Pili & Blu are Filipina immigrant-owned businesses that provide accessibility to Filipino food products and handcrafted items made in the Philippines. A portion of our sales benefits a couple of nonprofits based in the Bay Area that support people with special needs. This is a tribute to our founder’s brother who is on the Autism spectrum.

We know that it can be tough and expensive to send someone to classes and workshops. As part of our commitment to further support the Autism community and other special needs communities, we're hosting "Special Art Sundays", a free and inclusive virtual art class for people with special needs. Classes will be held on second Sundays of the month from 1-2PM PST.

He is also an experienced art teacher for people with special needs. We will be sponsoring the classes but you're free to directly Venmo Teacher Al if you'd like to give him any additional donations. This is completely optional.
